Orientation Phase Grade 5-6

In grades 5 and 6, learners embark on the Orientation Phase at our school, where they are meticulously prepared for the forthcoming challenges of secondary education.

This phase is designed to recognize and nurture each student’s unique aptitudes and abilities, emphasizing a holistic approach to differentiated learner development. A strong focus on the German language is complemented by fostering critical thinking, independent learning, self-directed work patterns, and efficient time management skills.

The Orientation Phase also prioritizes interdisciplinary learning, seamlessly integrating various subjects to cultivate a well-rounded, comprehensive understanding of the world.

In addition to academic excellence, this phase prioritizes the social and emotional growth of students. Emphasis is placed on developing essential social skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness.

This holistic approach not only prepares students for academic achievement but also equips them with the necessary tools to navigate life’s complexities beyond the classroom.

By fostering a supportive and enriching environment, the Orientation Phase aims to produce well-rounded individuals ready to take on the diverse challenges of the future.
